Suggest an update
- Open the person's record in Signals Search. Find the specific record and choose Suggest an update. The handle has its own control for a mistake about the person rather than one event.
- Choose the reason that fits: repaid, never lent, not a loan, duplicate, wrong amount, wrong handle, or Other. Handle corrections offer alternate account, not this person, or Other. Add a one-line note for Other.
- Add a Reddit post or comment link if you have one. The link is optional. Choose Send for review.
The report appears in Your submissions. A moderator reviews it and sends a notice with the decision and note. Reviewed: accepted means the report was accepted; it does not mean the record changed. No review time is promised. If the request loses its answer, check Your submissions before sending it again.
Add a record
In Contribute, choose Add a record. Enter the class, borrower's handle and date. Add only the facts the source states; leave the rest blank. Paste the source link when you have it, then choose Submit for review.
A moderator checks the source and fields before an approved submission enters Signals. Your name does not appear on the public record. Follow the decision in Your submissions. If the moderator asks for more evidence, choose Add the source on that submission and send one http(s) link. It returns to pending review.
