Use the Today home

Read your balances, work overdue and upcoming loans, and record a payment.

Open Today for your active loans, borrowers, outstanding balance and money repaid. The line below the totals shows the day and how many loans are overdue or due in the next seven days. Nothing needs you means both attention lanes are empty; you may still have loans due later.

Overdue lists the oldest unpaid due date first. Due this week starts with the next due date, including today. Each lane shows its total by currency. Select a borrower name to open their record, or the Overdue heading to open the late-loans list.

Use a row’s Record payment button for that loan. Enter the amount received, date, method and optional note, then save. Balances and lane counts refresh after a successful payment. A duplicate payment reports that nothing new was saved.

Quick actions sits beside the lanes on a laptop and below them on a phone. Add a loan opens the Loans form. Record a repayment opens the payment dialog with a loan selector, including open balances outside the attention lanes. Import loans opens Import in Tools, where you can preview a JSON backup before applying it.

On a fresh book, start with Add a loan. The empty lanes explain that there are no loans yet, and Record a repayment becomes available when there is an open balance.
